From the Director Welcome to the 27th season of Bellevue Chamber Chorus! Once again we look forward to offering you a year of diverse musical events to explore, experience, and enjoy. For the holiday season, in addition to our annual Messiah performance with the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra, we present a fascinating exploration of the many images of winter and Christmas, with some absolutely gorgeous music for you to savor in two marvelous Eastside choral venues. Next, we are very excited to collaborate in March with several other area ensembles for a performance of the spectacular Carmina Burana in the region’s premiere concert hall. If you’ve never experienced this famous and dramatic work in person (and even if you have), this is one concert you will definitely want to put on your calendar! Plus, you’ll hear the Chorus and other ensembles in brief solo sets as an extra musical treat. Finally, it’s always a delight for us, and our audience, when the wonderful Andy Carr Trio joins us for some tasty vocal jazz…this time to enjoy many of the classic popular tunes of the ‘30s, ‘40s, and ‘50s. So we invite you to explore, experience, and enjoy the world of great choral music with us again this year!
